Just checked my UoP app status, and it says "reviewed, no decision", and "re-review in January". hahaha.


Just send me my rejection already -____-

Anyone else in the same boat. Or all ya'll just got interviews already 😛.

damm.... I got that too..

I am sad, just feel much pressure on USC interview next week.. dang...

my status is saying "application received and it is in process."
applied in July.
 
What batch are you guys in? My score was mailed out on 09/28 and my file was then complete and haven't heard from them since, didn't get any emails like that

Go to uop homepage and check. They dont send email but you always can check your status online

Thanks, you were right. My status is "Re-review in Jan" as well. So they stopped sending out invitations now and will send more next year?

Did anyone get rejections? If so, maybe we got on the maybe list which is still better than getting rejected. I hope.
 
My status says the same. I never quite thought UOP was a safety school but I didn't anticipate it would be this difficult to grab their attention. UCSF, UCLA, Penn and UDM so far despite late DAT so not sure what to think.

Oh well, hoping for a Dec 3rd acceptance...and before any of you can bring me down to reality, I'll politely ask you to shut up and not do that ^_^

I'll join the club. Oh well, their loss! Who wants to spend 3 years with annoying ironic hipsters in great sunny weather anyways. I'd probably get run out of town for not being an Apple fanboy 😉.
 
Same here......especially when they reject qualified and deserving students with good academics/ experience.

Aw let's not all be bitter now. All I us will be dentists eventually and we will find the school that is fit for us. In the end we will all work together anyways. Plus it's already hard enough for the DS to pick and choose out of sooo many highly qualified applicants. 🙂

I did earlier this week, I was told my app was "still being reviewed"... so vague... so heartless... (jk)

Seriously though, I got the same message online...re-review in Jan. I'm thinking this may just be a blanket announcement to everyone who did not manage a pre-Dec invite, though I'm just speculating. I didn't ask that when I called because I didn't realize it then.
 
Well, anyone got email said "rejected" ? If bunch of people got this message then ones who got re review email is trustable otherwise...it is like reject email. I assume..

Good point, has anyone received either a specific 'rejection' email or status from UoP thus far?
 
Ya I wouldn't have too much hope since post dec interview/acceptances chances are slime to none since the class pretty much as been filled :-(. I'll just wait for that rejection letter (re-review) in the mail in January.

Sorry if this seems ignorant but how do u know the class is almost all full? Was this mentioned somewhere or did u call? 😕

Hmmm... They didn't start interviewing for the waitlist until mid-February, for my year, and actually a couple of my classmates didn't get off the waitlist and onto the roster until the week before matriculation. I want to say that about 40% of my late Jan interview cohort ended up joining me at UoP.

While they fill much of the class on Dec 1st, the shaping of the class roster is a process that takes quite a while longer. I wouldn't give up yet.
 
I haven't received a rejection letter yet from UoP and it still says:

App Type: Reviewed, No Decision
Status: "Re-review in January"
Last Updated: 11/02/2012
