Hi guys! Second round applicant and SO STOKED I got into UoP and ASDOH on Dec. 3rd! WahHOO!:soexcited:

I'm a SoCal resident, so WesternU would be most ideal because closest to my family, better weather, and cheapest option of the 3 schools (sad, I know). I have an interview there in Feb and have a feeling I have a good chance to be accepted.

I absolutely loved everything about ASDOH when I interviewed. Everyone is so nice and seemed really well rounded. Plus, the 4 year rotations seem intense in a good way to get you ready to hit the ground running clinically. But, seriously so expensive.

UoP, I mean, U-O-freakin-P!! My heart is telling me to go here, because I went to school in NorCal and have a lot of connections already in San Francisco. 3 year program, and the vibe there just totally clicked with me. But, again, super expensive. And, they say the coldest winter you can spend is a summer in San Francisco

Any input, please share! No negative input tho (thanks!) gotta keep it positive fam

what are the prices for each school?
From the budgets they provide online:

ASDOH for 4yrs: ~$528k
UoP for 3 years: ~$498k
WesternU for 3 yrs: ~$447k

The plus here is that at UoP I’ll have 1 year less of interest accruing because I’ll start paying it off after the 3rd year. But ya allll prettttty pricey

50K difference is where I draw the line normally but in this case you get the extra year of practicing so I think it is a no brainer. But if you get accepted into your state school or a public school that gives in state tuition after a year I would absolutely go there
