Hello!

I have several interviews in the coming weeks and I would like some advice on what to wear (I am a female)

I bought a nice, knee length skirt and a button down shirt to tuck in, but now I'm wondering if I should wear a suit? I do not feel very comfortable in a suit, but I will also be uncomfortable if I am the only one not wearing one.

Sorry if this seems trivial, I just want to make the best impression I can.

Hi,

When I interviewed several weeks back I wore nice black pants with a pretty sweater and heels. I did see a couple of people wearing suits, but I don't think it is necessary, especially if you aren't comfortable. What you bought sounds perfectly fine.

I will be interviewing this weekend and next and had the same question. I talked to some friends that have interviewed for other programs and they all suggested a suit. I was told that there were usually a mixture of people in suits and people just dressed nicely. I would say wear what you're conformable in because you'll already be nervous and uncomfortable clothes will only make it worse. Good luck in your interviews!

Hi- when I interviewed I was so torn about what to wear but I ended up getting a suit- it was one with a skirt.. the only one they had at the store, the night before my interview, in my size. I can only hope that I stay this same size for the rest of my life or I'll end up never wearing it again lol. The suit wasn't the uncomfortable part for me, it was the shoes I got to go with it!

When I was there the girl waiting with me had black pants and a top on and the girl who came out before me had on almost an identical suit as me.

I also suggest going with what you're comfortable with. When I interviewed I wore a suit because I used to be a teacher and when I think interview, I think suits look more professional. It's only one day that you have to wear it and it's an investment in your career that you worked really hard for. That being said however, when I went on my interview there was another girl there with me who was just wearing black pants and a regular shirt so it's really your call on what you feel most confident in wearing.

I wore a suit, but only cause I already had one. I think your skirt and button up will be just fine! Make sure you wear pantyhose! Just be comfortable!
