i have already searched through the forum for how to write one and the general feeling i am getting is that along with just being an update letter of what i have been up to, i should try to convey just how BADLY i want to go to the school (i wish i could just show them, like kill a cat or something to prove my mettle - j/k, sort of). also, it shouldnt be more than a page long single spaced. is there something i am missing? i plan on writing a sub one page (probably like 3/4 a page, knowing myself, i tend to lean towards concise). also, how many schools can i send an update/interest letter out to? keep in mind i am sending these possible letters PREINTERVIEW, i have recieved only rejections or holds so far and i would be lying if i said i wasnt depressed.
one last thing. i applied to the big brother program but have yet to recieve a little brother, should i even bother including that in my update letter?
