Hi everyone! Now that my semester is over, and I have more free time, I'm hoping to send some update letters to schools. While I do have other updates on activities that are decently substantial, I was wondering if it would be appropriate to also include something about grades this semester? And if so, how to go about doing that (like updated GPA or something like that?)

Thanks in advance!

Sure, if the school is open to that! For example, VCU specifically mentions that they are receptive to grade updates, but check for each individual school. You can just list courses and grades earned (that's what I've been doing) and/or mention updated GPA as well (that's really up to you - the schools I've experienced are typically fine either way).

Like I wrote in a similar thread just now, you should see about each school's specific policy because they can vary. Some schools are receptive to grade updates while others specifically say that they don't want grades as the sole reason for updates.
