I recently got published in a paper and was wondering the best time to submit an update letter would be...also do we write an email update or do we sent in a physical letter?

Congrats on the publication. It depends on the school though. Some you can upload documents online. Some have a way of sending messages online. Some want it through email, and some want snail mail. Read up the original emails for admissions / what it says on the secondary login sites then go from there!

When's the best time to send in those letters? Should I send it to schools who have not yet given me an II or should I wait until after I interview and am pending a decision?
