Update on Some Schools and Conan...

Hey Everyone...I called some schools to ask for an update, and this is what I found out:

Temple: 3/4 of the class sent in their deposits...however, cause most people change after hearing from their state schools (and the Cali folks), this number shouldnt scare any of you

UConn: Class is totally full

Pittsburgh: Class is almost full, and they are only considering anyone with a 3.4 in both overall and science from now on

Buffalo: Majority of the class is full, but seats are still remaining. Next review is in a couple of weeks.

Thats it for now! Remember to watch Conan O'Brien tonight and for the rest of the week, because he is doing his shows in Toronto.........WOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!

HAHAH...the show last night with Mike Myers sucked, but tonights show was really good...That space needle fight was gold....and dont think that guy who said go back to seattle really meant it...you gotta understand that most of the audience is made up of rowdy immature College students....

Typical torontoian gupta! I'm a Calgarian, but I guess since thats out of your definition of the center of the universe, I'll cut you some slack.

And in Calgary, we got cows, horses, and THE RED HOT FLAMES!! 2 wins in a row baby!

Oh ya, and the only reason Conan is in T.O is because the Ontario government PAID him! It baffles me why ontario tries so desperately to get the spotlight.

ANd yes the govt paid him, and it was such a good move...because its basically 4 hour long commercials on a major US network.....and since Americans make up 70% of Toronto's tourism, you cant complain with their approach since Toronto's tourism has been hit hard cause of SARS...

Seriously, Canada should just adopt the american dollar. Our buck is doing ok right now, but I dont see it going a lot higher. An economics prof of mine is totally for this.


Iginla's been on fire lately. Man, if the Flames make the playoffs, I'll be there to jump all over that bandwagon!!

Gupta, did you see that report on CBC talking about how the Stones concert didnt inject as much cash into T.O as originally hoped for? Hopefully for Toronto's sake, and really the rest of canada, tourism there can get back to where it's been pre-SARS.

Yah I know that the Stones didnt do as much for Toronto as they hoped, but it was still great for the city.....and I still agree that this conan thing is gold.....we gotta get the Yanks back up here, and what better way than through the boobtube!!! Remember when the Simpsons came to Toronto??? Its all happening baby.....all happening.....

And $1 million is really nothing to what this will do in the long term, and plus it educates our friendly friends to the south 😉

My friend used to work at the CN Tower for so long, and he couldnt count the amount of times Americans would honestly keep on saying it was the CNN Tower, and ask him how much Ted Turner paid for it. Geez......

Joining america would destroy the very fabric of canadian hockey as we know it. Although when asked by players which side of the north america they would play on, a lot would most emphatically say the south side(america) they have buccu bucks. Its all about the money.

Speaking of Conan, Did anyone happen to catch the segment when he was a guest on Martha Stewart. Martha normally has ice in her veins but she went completly ga-ga over Conan just like a school girl going through her first crush. You could almost see the heat waves coming off of Martha's frame. Way to go Conan
