updated usmle transcript, any significance?

When there's an updated/new score, is it sent automatically to the programs who allready had the old transcript, or do they have to retrieve it from eras themselves?

basically i'm asking cause some programs I haven't heard from so far but have allready sent iv, have "downloaded" my updated transcript yesterday after my CK score has arrived, and i'm wondering if it might give me some hope...
far fetched I know, but i'm looking for any positive angle at the moment 🙂

if when you submitted eras you had checked "yes" to the "automatically retransmit my USMLE info" or whatever it said exactly - then yes, they will be prompted to redownload your info. If you didn't check that box, you'll have to retransmit your USMLE info, and then yes, they will automatically see that it is updated and download it if they care to.

Programs continually download any new info from applicants regardless if they've invited you, waitlisted you, or rejected you. This is per AProgDirector's previous posts and what other PDs have said

I meant for specific 10 programs which I was really interested in and allready sent out their iv's, just was hoping I still have a chance with them...
oh well thing's will work out I guess...

just b/c they passed u up for an early invite doesn't mean they rejected you. they might have, but they also might have you on hold for further review. nobody knows except the specific program
