Does anyone know what happens when you update something (obsvervation hours/GRE) after you have submitted already? Do they have to re-mail everything to every school? Do I have to submit again or does it automatically update after I change something?

Thanks

I am not sure about the GRE, but I'm fairly sure the schools are simply notified when you update or add in more observation hours. I have a similar dilemma about whether applications have to be mailed out again when you add another LOR after already submitting your app... I'm hoping someone can chime in for us! 🙂

it's all good. just send in the new updates to your application materials and the school will use those too with the existing materials

About a day or so after you submit the updates-- whether it be scores, another LOR gets submitted, etc then if you go to "PT Designations" then you'll see another date underneath the original mailing date that will say "Revised 10/27/10"

PTCAS automatically will send your updates to your schools! No need to re-submit 🙂

So if all transcripts are in, I can submit the app now to get all that sorted out and update it when I get my observation hours documented/LORs, etc?

yes, you can (and should) submit it as soon as your part is done - it will be reviewed once your transcripts arrive at PTCAS

I would just make sure your LORs are in by your first deadline - same for obs hours unless it says otherwise on the school's PTCAS page (under observation hours there is a row for "Deadline for completion of all pt hours")

thanks for the help everyone 🙂
