Hi everyone, I have a quick question about ERAS (could not find my answer in previous threads): If you submit ERAS, upload new letters of recommendation down the road, and send those letters to programs through ERAS, do you still need to e-mail the program separately to tell them that you have new files waiting to be downloaded? Or (what I think I read in another post) will the programs upload documents from ERAS periodically, and your new letters will be highlighted as new documents with your application?
I wasn't sure, however, if e-mailing the program would be a better idea b/c if you have an interview coming up and you just had a new letter uploaded, I assume that you'd want the program to upload the new letter ASAP (i.e., before your interview) instead of waiting until they periodically download documents from ERAS (which could be after your interview).
Thanks for any advice!
