Hi all,
I've been preparing for the application cycle to reopen in June. This is my second time applying, and when contacting the dean of admissions to discuss improvements, he recommended that I should try to update the letters of recommendation that I already received.
I'm still in constant contact with my previous professors, so the issue isn't getting them to update it. The issue is why it needs to be updated. The only thing really different from my position then and now is volunteer work and shadowing, two aspects in which I don't think really pertain to my academic LoRs. I understand how it can be incorporated in the dental one, however.
Anyway, for those two/three time applicants, can anyone explain if that's something that's normally done, and explain what sort of changes you emphasized to your academic professors?
Thanks,
CC
