UPenn Admissions Status (Revamped???)

Last month, along with quite a few other people, I logged into my status page, and was deferred on an interview decision. I practically wrote them off.

Then today, I checked again, and now instead of saying deferred decision, it says:

Application Status: Complete - Additional Application Progress
Your application continues to be reviewed but there is no change in your status. Reviews will continue until March 2006.

Is this just to make me feel better about being deferred, or is this a different tier in their evaluation process? Anyone else have this as their status?

Hey! I wrote the same question. check the thread Upenn Status to see people's responses. There is no real answer. Most say its a pseudo-rejection. Some say there is still a slight chance. Hope that helps.
