Hi,
I was going through the penn application essay list.
There is a question on work exp. in the U.S.
Describe (if applicable) your work experience in the U.S. and how it contributes to your professional experience.
i have been doing a volunteer observership here.
does it account for work exp. in the U.S? coz it did not involve any active Rx.do i or do i not have to respond to this question?

Hi there.I think you can use that as work experience since dental assisting /observership are among the few things that graduates of foreign dental schools can do ,unless they obtain further education from the US. Good luck !

of course you should add your volunteering experience in your application.
don't leave any essay type question unanswered.
draft your application several times before mailing it to the school.
believe me, they take each & every word of your application very seriously.
