says if science major, you need letters from science faculty

is it 2 from science or 1 science and 1 non-science? I believe it's the latter, but just want to verify

Call the school maybe? I would suggest 2 science, 1 non and 1 dentist letter, it will get you covered for most dental schools requirements.

Agreed. The 'non' could be research supervisor or something. But I'd suggest going with 2 science to cover yourself for the majority of the schools you apply to.
