I interviewed there, and I thought it was an excellent program. They have in-house call 1st-year, and it's apparently pretty busy, but the load seems to lighten up significantly after that. Their program director is really big into the wet lab and utilizing technology in their educational initiatives; I think you'd be extremely well-trained coming from UPMC. They get plenty of surgery, plenty of subspecialty exposure, and they have MLB, NFL, and NHL teams!
