So I had gotten a general LOR back in July for my application. At that time I was only planning to apply to IM so when I was typing the LOR info in eras I had typed:

LoR Author Name: Dr. ******* *******

LoR Author Title / Department: **************

Specialty to which this letter will be assigned: “Internal Medicine”

So my question is this. This week last minute I've decided to apply to some safety FM programs as a back-up and I wanted to use this particular LOR. I know that it clearly says in eras: "Note: Programs will be able to view the LoR Author Name and Title/Department you enter as well as your selection on waiving your right to view the letter. The Specialty you enter is ONLY visible to you and your Designated Dean's Office.

So I'm assuming that I can assign this to FM, but I'm scared as hell that I've put under " Specialty to which this letter will be assigned: " as Internal Medicine. Even though it says that PD's can't see what I've entered as the specialty.
I just don’t want to ruin my entire app over such a small mistake.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I plan to submit my app in 2 days!!!!

Thanks!
