My PCAT is in 2 days and for practice I did http://www.kaptest.com/pcat-pharmacy/pcat-practice/free-pcat-practice-test-questions just to see how ready I was. Turns out I am NOT ready at all.. This was actually so hard and I went over the time limit, guessed for many questions (especially for Verbal and Biology). When I got to reading comprehension I couldn't even bring myself to do it because I was so depressed about the difficulty of the previous sections.. Am I screwed? I am so stressed and scared now that I can't focus. Before this I was confident because I thought that I had studied hard enough from Kaplan 2013-2014 and assumed I knew my stuff but some questions on that test were not even covered in the book. Please help! Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated, I am on the verge of a breakdown.

I looked over the Bio section and it has ecology on it (which you dont need to know), but still... the difficulty is right around the same as the actual PCAT. Its too late too get stressed about the exam... The worse thing you can do is think how badly you did in the section before while you are taking the PCAT. Remember Math is last (which is pretty hard) if you get there feeling down, things will turn out bad for you ... I recommend you try to review for 1 more day and try to relax the day before the exam, or you will actually do worse 🙁

Also, your PCAT is in 2 days? I thought you could only take the January PCAT either the 7th or the 8th ?

For math, guess as much as you can. I think I guessed in around ~15 questions in Math and got a 82 percentile. Do the easy questions first and leave the hard ones for last (still guess on them cause you never know if you will have time to go back and check) Reading and verbal were brutal for me... specially cause I had no idea how to study for them (but Dr. Collins helped me a lot with Math/Chem/Bio) got a 82/93/80 respectively in those sections in the PCAT.

Yeah I feel like verbal and reading will kill me. I havent studied those because I just dont know how to.. and thats great to hear for math. Im going to work on my speed for solving chemistry and math problems all night. Is this anything you recommend that will help with this?

try to practice as much as you can and dont stress if you can't do the 48 math questions in 40 mins (its almost impossible). For chemistry, 30 mins for the 48 questions should be more than enough tho 🙂

I thought the Kaplan test was pretty accurate. I got a 99 on it and a 97 on the real test. The scoring is way more precise than the Pearson 20 point ranges.
