Hi, I'm an IMG who did a month of clerkship (in IM) in the US as a fourth year student.
My school didn't allow me to do this rotation for credit (my school only allowed students to do rotations in the school-affiliated hospital) but I did the rotation anyway using my vacation time.
So my MSPE/transcript doesn't show this rotation. My grade from this rotation was High Pass, and the written evaluations were good but not anything extraordinary. I'm applying for IM this year.

Is including this experience in the CV experience section going to be helpful?
Can it hurt my application because the grade is High Pass?

Thanks!

If it wasn't part of your curriculum then you can include it in experience section

I assume you'll have an LOR (or two) from this experience? In that case, it doesn't matter all that much what you do, but I'd list it if it won't be on your transcript.

I talked to a program director and they told me it would add some redundancy to my application. Do you think LORS from my clinical training is sufficient enough?
