US DDS wanting to practice in EU

I am a graduate from a TX Dental School and would like to practice in the EU, specifically Austria or Germany.I was born in Austria and will be applying for my Austrian citizenship soon. Does anyone know how to go about practicing in the EU with an US degree? Do you take an exam like the wreb, or have to go back to school? thanks.
