I'm currently in the "pre-contemplation" stage of applying to internship and have become interested in the US Navy program. My main question is how post-doc might work following a military internship, considering the service requirement. Specifically, my ultimate career goal is to be board certified in neuropsychology. I see that the Navy offers a 2 year post-doc in neuropsychology at Walter Reed; is this something that their internship students would be eligible for immediately? And would the 2 year fellowship "count" towards the service requirement? Any other info or personal experience that people have with these programs would be greatly appreciated!
