Congrats 🙂
Are they going to send waiting list and rejection emails in the same time as well?

Dunno, here is the email...

It is with great enthusiasm that we are able to inform you of your acceptance into the University of Southern California School of Dentistry's Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists Class of 2010!

This letter has been sent to you in the mail as well. All documents are being emailed as well as mailed to you. Please watch your mailbox for it.

Classes will start on May 5th, 2008. Please be advised that there will be a mandatory new student orientation during the week prior to the first day of classes. It would be best to plan on being in the Los Angeles area by March, 2008 thereby allowing yourself sufficient time to become familiar with your new environment.

In order to secure your acceptance we require emailed confirmation that you wish to be part of the Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists. Please email Emily Sardegna at [email protected] with this confirmation by November 20th, 2007. Additionally, a non-refundable $1,500.00 deposit payable to USC School of Dentistry must be received in the Office of Admissions and Student Affairs by November 30th, 2007. The payment may be a personal check, money order, or cashier's check.

Please read the Terms and Conditions of Acceptance packet included attached to this email carefully. After thoroughly reading the packet, please complete the Applicant Certification Form on the last page and include the signed form with your first deposit.

Because you will need a great number of teeth to work with while enrolled in the degree program, you should start collecting as many as possible now. Enclosed you will find information concerning the collection of extracted natural teeth.

If you are not already a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the US , and require an I-20 Student Visa, please return the I-20 request form attached to this email or the one included in your mailed packet (referred to as "i-20 financial statement"). Please be sure to include a copy of your current Passport for verification. Be advised that it usually takes at least eight to twelve weeks to process the I-20 Student Visa.

If you are not already a US Citizen and received a TOEFL score lower than 100 IBT, 250 CBT, or 600 PBT, we highly recommend that you retake the TOEFL to obtain this minimum score. If you do not achieve the minimum score listed above, you will be required to take a test through our American Language Institute before starting the ASPID program. If you do not pass this test, you will be required to take English language courses during the program. There is no time in your schedule to take these courses and, therefore, it may take longer than 2 years to graduate. For this reason, we highly recommend taking the TOEFL as many times as necessary to reach the minimum score. The School of Dentistry must receive the official TOEFL results by March 1, 2008.

Please keep an eye on your mailbox over the next few months for more information from our office. You will be required to submit health screening documents, but these forms will be sent to you at a later date.

If you have not already started the financial aid process you may want to call the Office of Financial Aid at 213-740-2861. If you have any questions regarding university housing the Housing Office can be reached at 1-800-872-4632 or 213-740-2546. They are also available online at http://housing.usc.edu.

Again, congratulations on your acceptance into the Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists. We look forward to having you in the program.

DOCUMENTATION TO BE RETURNED

All documentation must be returned no later than the date indicated in the chart below. The “I-20 Request Form” must be returned as soon as possible since it takes six to eight weeks to process the I-20 Student Visa. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Office of Admissions and Student Affairs at xxx-xxx-xxxx.

I was also accepted at USC and will be attending there - posted it in the other thread. I know of a few others who got in. I know they read SDN threads but it doesn't look like they've joined to say they're accepted.

Honestly, SDN was such a help to me getting through the whole process. I'm so thankful to everyone that posts here.
