Has anyone gotten the letter from USC yet? I am coming up on my fourth week post-interview and I know that there are a lot of people who had their interviews before me and must be coming up on week 6. Has anyone heard ANYTHING??

I actually started a thread earlier but no one commented. oh well I'm waiting for the decision too and hope we can hear back soon.
 
i guess that means that no one has heard? i know several people have called the admissions office and they have told them that they dont know anything.

yeah probably. I interviewed in november and am anxiously awaiting the committee's decision. Please update when those with october interviews hear back and let us know your turnaround time!
 
i interviewed late october and still haven't heard anything yet....i'm guarding the mailbox like a hawk though....argh, i'm dying to know since its my number 1 choice! crossing my fingers and trying to keep up the good karma.

same here.. it's been over 4 weeks since my interview, and they told us we should hear back within 4-6 weeks, so the letters should be coming soon. I know that this is the 6th week for people who interviewed the week of Oct. 19, so they should certainly be hearing back this week.
 
they sure seem to be taking there time.

I interviewed on the 31st and haven't heard back either. Guess i'll call sometime this week.
 
bump. hey am I correct in thinking that those of us who interviewed have a better chance of getting acceptance this year since Keck interviewed ~500 people for a class of 180 (as opposed to 160 in previous years)?
 
how does everyone feel about Keck? I'm interviewing soon, am from NY and would love some opinions

I think we all have a pretty decent shot. I think I read that they accept around 250 to fill that class. 50% is not bad.

I liked Keck a lot. The students I talked to seemed to have real lives outside of class. They webcast all the lectures...and seem to really care about the wellbeing of the students. During my student interview, the IT guy came up to my interviewer to let her know that he had gotten all the software to fix her computer problem. She has a MAC and evidently the webcasts were not working on it so the school BOUGHT her Bootcamp AND a copy of Windows so that she could get access to the lectures. I think that is pretty dope. That is a couple hundred in software.
 
I interviewed on 10/23 and I'm still waiting too (and crossing my fingers!)

Does anyone know if they notify by e-mail or snail mail or something else?

I really hope it's like you say, CoolXTony, that the numbers are in our favor this year. Let us know what they say if you do call!
 
Hey, just letting you know that USC has started sending out decision letters. I interviewed on Oct. 17th and got mine today, though I live 15 miles away from the school, so it may take a little longer for others!

the waiting is horrible!!!

Did they do overnight delivery, or just regular USPS mail? And was it a big envelope or small envelope?

I'm not sure what kind of delivery they use, but the letter came in a small envelope! Thick, but small.

Thanks for all of the congrats! I applied last year, didn't get in anywhere and was of course crushed, so now it's just that much sweeter. Good luck to everyone!

I loved it. After I went to the interview, Keck became my first choice provided I can afford it. For the record, I also interviewed UCI, UCLA, Vandy, UCSD and Tulane.

P.S. Love the avatar. I'm a huge trojans fan (I work at USC now). If I didn't have a boyfriend, you'd have a good shot...
 
My mother-in-law just called me to tell me that my letter came!!!!

just got the acceptance letter! interviewed 10/26

I wonder about those who interviewed in early november.... Please let us know when you interviewed when you post your decision!
 
yea i was thinking for sure the october interviewees should hear within a few days, don't know when exactly they would draw the line, though..

hmm...seems like everyone's getting acceptance letter. Can't wait for mine tomorrow 😀 It would be a perfect birthday present for me.

i came home early from work today and found nothing from Keck, instead I got a hold letter from CCLCM😡. Hmmmm, I hope it's not bad news for the rest of us. Let's hope for tomorrow then.

BTW I interviewed on 10/31 and live in MD.
 
BUMP. Has anyone interviewed during the week of 31th heard back from Keck?
 
i interviewed on the 2nd, and i havent heard anything. i am sorta kicking myself because i originally was scheduled for the 17th, but i got sick and had to push it back...

I interviewed in the week of the 2nd as well and I havent heard anything either. I wonder how long we have to wait for the next batch of letters. I was hoping that since it was post-dated 11/26 then maybe they would have included us. I guess not this time.
