Anyone get anything today? I was at home today and instead of studying for finals was guarding the mailbox. I thought I saw a thin envelope that might have been it (*heartbreaks), but it was just a lawn treatment advertisement ahaha. I'm going crazy with the wait. Even if it's not what I've hoped for, i'd like to hear something...anyone else feeling the same?

If you were interviewed during or after the week of 11/2, I think you probably won't hear back in a week or two. From what I have noticed in this thread, the Adcom probably made decisions only for those interviewed in the first two weeks so far. I think you should probably concentrate on your finals. However, this is only my guess.

I interviewed during the second week...no news i guess is bad news in this case? ah well, back to glorious finals studying

hey yogos, i interviewed second week as well and still haven't heard anything. this could be due to the fact my school's mail service sucks or that i'm on the east coast. can't really say...but indeed, i'm waiting patiently for the response, as you are. i wouldn't read anything into the timing of the response, as it seems only logical to assume that they sent the letters out at the same time.

So I found out that the adcom met and decided to accept me two weeks before I got the actual acceptance letter in the mail (an anonymous tip from a med student friend haha). Unfortunately, you can't call to get the decision over the phone, you just have to wait it out (I got the letter like 7 weeks post-interview)... Maybe this will make you all feel a bit better??? 🙄 Good luck everyone!!!

I am extremely tired of waiting to hear back from these schools, they need to get on this. There are like 3 schools that I might hear back from soon and they are all procrastinating like no other. (NW, USC, and Mayo were all supposed to be "end of november" schools) I'll let you know if I hear anything from USC, although since you are geographically closer I imagine you will be finding out first eh.

I wonder if they are giving out anything but post interview acceptances.... If you call, let us know what you find out! I'd think they'd be abel to tell you if a decision was made or not....

i just called. the lady was super nice and said that the admissions committee wasn't meeting during the week of thanksgiving so things got slowed down a bit. she said that they are in the middle of sending a new batch of letters out...just waiting to get them signed by the appropriate person. she said they are going out today or early next week.

yeah...i dont know about the rejections or waitlists. i assume they are sending everything...although i don't remember seeing anyone post about a rejection/waitlist letter they got. i don't see why they would send them separately though. good luck.

I am gonna finish work soon and check my mail. But i doubt i'll have anything since i live on the east coast. I'll definitely post something if i get the mail. let's keep on waiting, this is going to be fun🙄

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know I got my letter today in the mail. I live on the eastcoast and interviewed on the week of October 22nd. Letter was postmarked three days ago, didn't expect it to arrive so fast! I didn't get accepted, but i wasn't rejected either...I was placed on alternate list. And for those who also got the alternate list, I called today since there was a mix up and no response form enclosed as supposed to be. The person who answered the phone at USC was really nice and said that we will be e-mailed that response form soon. Okies, best wishes to the rest of you!

I really hope I can get in! I would love to go to my number one choice 🙂

Nothing today for me. It seems like the letters were postmarked last Friday, so I think we'll be able to get it soon. (It was my birthday last Friday too, maybe I'll have some good luck? 😀) Anyways, this waiting is so tiring and makes me unproductive at work. Gotta get back to work now.

i am pretty sure that those of us who interviewed the week of Nov. 2nd, were not included in the mailing last Friday. There is no way in hell it would take a full week for a letter to get from LA to 1 hour from LA, especially since someone living on the East Coast got a letter postmarked last Friday on the following Monday.

I wonder when they will mail our letters? Tomorrow is 6 weeks for me.

I called today, and the lady told me they are sending out decisions this week as well for those interviewed on the 31th. In that case, I expect some of us can expect to hear back next Monday or so.
