Hey guys,
So I have a uro SubI at USC at County Hospital in sept and I am wondering if anyone knows the bus route that runs to USC? I won't have a car so I need to take the bus. I used to live in LA so I am well aware that the bus system is not very efficient and also that living within walking distance to USC also may not be the safest choice either. All i can remember is that if I live near wilshire I can get on the 720 but then I need to make another connection. Does anyone else take the bus to get there? Any recommendations on what to do?

Thanks Guys!

Try CraigsList to find some housing. Also try USC student affairs (maybe med students on away rotations will have places to sublet/ideas on places nearby which are safe). My school's alum association has a program where you can stay with alums all over the nation. Perhaps, your school has a similar program. Good luck.

Never had to take the bus, but my husband used to bike from where we were living (monterey hills area-takes you through a poor neighborhood, but he never got hassled even when he was coming back in the middle of the night). There was a shuttle from union station that a lot of county employees that used metrolink would ride to work in. Don't know if they charged and who was allowed to ride though. There were always tons of busses picking up and dropping off at the county so I would guess plenty of places would work, just depends on what your schedule is going to be.
