What a harrd exam. I did a mod 2 onlay manipal style, a PFM superbly out of the books and contemplated a tooth extraction, just jooking, maybe!!!

What was goign on with those interviews. How can a unmarried women get pregnant.

Let me share my experience.
Sunday was the dexterity test- was given a case- a person w/ missing #30, MO decay w/ lingual fracture on #31, desires esthetics on #29. What will you do?

Case 2- DO on #4 w/ 0.5 mm radiographic evidence of decay on dentin..what will you do.
On the whole 3 preps. We had 3.5 hours to accomplish them. Thought time was about enough.

Monday was info session on Problem Based Learning(PBL) at 8 am. What it is and how it works. I thought it was pretty good. Very different.
It was followed by group interview PBL style. Nothing Dentistry related. We were a group of maybe 8-9, and were given a scenario with some info.Had to work through it- gathering facts, putting forth ideas and finding out what more info we needed to arrive at a diagnosis. It was followed by 2 more rounds of the same. Then we were given the diagnosis. I had not heard of it at all. Dont think anyone else in my group had either.
