Hi there,
I've been accepted to Pepperdine and USC's MFT programs and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on which is better. Pepperdine is about $60,000 whereas USC is about $100,000.
I would like to attend USC for personal reasons, but I'm just not sure I can justify the price tag. I've also been accepted to Palo Alto's PhD in Clinical Psychology program, which is about $190,000 over 5 years.
I'm primarily interested in going into private practice for couples therapy. It's clear to me that the PhD carries weight among patients, but I understand that you can make just as much with an MFT as a PhD.
What do you think I should do??
