Two very good threads about USC where MULTIPLE D3 and D4 USC students post their opinions.

Personally my advice for people considering USC is to go back on their own and talk to the students. Don't let the admissions people know you are there, and then on the second day come back and ask to sit in some PBL sessions. I did this, and the PBL sessions were nothing like the mock interview. Actually kinda bogus. Talking to the students helped the most though. If you can't afford the southwest flight to Los Angeles, then the next best thing is the above threads if you're considering USC. I would also suggest you PM the posters for their private opinion as well.
