USC vs. UCLA

Friends:

I got admission into both UCLA and USC. I am so confused where to go. I have heard that the patient pool in USC is great but it's a problem in UCLA, but then UCLA is such a big brand name.

PLease help with your views.

well both the schools are very good schools but you have asked to select between them my personal opinion will be UCLA......obviously
In UCLA the education you achieve is excellent and you have very good scope for post doctoral study...Its not private and its government school so its way less expensive as compared to USC as USC is private...

USC is good school too but its very costly and I attended USC interview too but I was not so convinced with the PBL study they have..... Its like solving the problem instead of actually teaching it.

well I wont say that USC is bad its good but UCLA is way better......and u are lucky that u have oppurtunity to chose from these.....

Patients pool is almost the same in both the schools......

Well everyones opinion differs but this was my personal opinion to you....

congrats on getting call from both universities.. obiviously UCLA is a brand name but everybody has his/her own thinking or views. and you have better chances in post doctrol courses. i don't think few pateints will make that much difference. also the PBL thing is like you will have to put most of your own efforts. USC is a very good and reputed university but UCLA has a slight edge. again its my personal views and decision should be always yours...

Congrats for your admission into both schools.
I am stuck in the same dilemma.Both are so good in their own ways that it's hard to decide.
I am hoping SDN will help us out both .
