hello,
I know that USC is almost done with their pre-interview screening. Should I assume that if they have not contacted me by the end of this week, that I'm pretty much screwed or what? I know that they said that all decisions will be made by early march..aren't we already getting into mid-march? I know some of you have already received news from them, like Jefe for example (by the way congratulations! USC is great program!). Has anyone received any news from them? thanks

Hang in there Boss. I don't know how receptive thier office is about phone calls, but maybe you can give them a buzz.

hey joe, wazz up man, I heard their office is totally rude when you call, so I don't even want to bother. I just keep in contact with one of the Deans at the school (not the dean of admissions!) and all I get is that I just have to wait... 😕

I don't know if anyone knows any better than the "all pre-interview decisions should be made in early March" line (even the admissions office people). Since they are interviewing through April, I would assume there is a chance of getting an invite even in April since people will always cancel short notice. Especially since you live in the area, they might be more likely to interview you if it comes down to the last minute. But hopefully you'll just get the invite today or tomorrow anyway and not have to worry about it 🙂 .

I just called the office myself. They are sending out their last batch of invites next week. So Friday of next week if those of us who haven't heard anything yet, its safe to assume we were rejected.

I called the office two days ago and they said that all decisions regarding an interview will be made within 2 weeks. I estimate that they will be done by the third week of March. They interview thru April. Hang in there people, we have time, not a lot, but we have some.

I interviewed there in January, and I didn't see anyone THAT hot... we're not talking about Liv, ar we? I think someone said that she moved on.
