My estimated cost of attendance for the year is around $118,000 with tuition being around $74,500. I guess you can reduce your cost of attendance depending on your estimated housing, dining, etc., but they give you up to $118,000.

I was accepted in January and didn't get info on my recruitment scholarship until April. I didn't know anything scholarships before that. There's also a few smaller internal scholarships that you can apply to during the school year based on service and other stuff.

Does Keck negotiate financial aid offers? And how is financial aid in general, b/c I see they only ask for FAFSA

The only financial aid they give is loans unless you get a recruitment scholarship. I’m not sure if they negotiate financial aid. I doubt it though, seeing how most of our class is taking loans

During the interview they told around Christmas, but I am not sure considering lot of admissions offices are closed starting today/tomorrow
 
Maybe they’re waiting til Christmas Eve to call ppl haha
 
Does Keck accept updates or letters of intent that are emailed to them? I'm not seeing any information on their website. Thanks!

They explicitly say please don’t send anything. They only accept a letter of intent if you’re on the waitlist!
 
Do they send WL and A at the same time 😩where’s my closure

Congratulations! Just curious...did you send them a thank you letter after your interview? There seems to be conflicting reports as to whether or not they accept them. Congrats again and Happy Holidays!

They said to not send anything between your interview and your decision, but that it’s ok to thank your interviewers afterwards

I think they explicitly said there was a no update letter or thank you letter policy, so I didn’t send anything. Happy holidays!
 
+1 IS A call on 12/23! In my excitement I may have heard incorrectly when we would see the email/portal update. For those who heard back, when do you think we'll get more info?

Hey! Fellow +1 IS A on 12/23 here! Congrats on the acceptance!! I don’t remember hearing an estimate for when there would be a portal/email update, but I’d guess that it may not be until next week because of the holiday.
 
Happy holidays everyone! Can any current students chime in on how useful attending admitted students day was? I mightttt have a scheduling conflict but was wondering how hard I should try to attend lol

In all honesty, it wasn’t that helpful imo. It was cool that you have lunch in an assigned room with current students and you do get to meet your classmates, but in terms of information about the actual school/program, I could find 95% of the info on their website. You won’t be missing out on much if you don’t attend but if you can it’s a cool experience to talk to current students
 
Had interview on 11/19 & was told that result will come out in January. Very nervous 🤪
