I have been trying to log on to the status check website for like three days now and the URL they sent isn't working. Is anyone else having this problem?

I was told the day of the interview that we would be sent a form that we would have to return indicating whether we were still interested in the school. Anyone get that yet?

Yeah, interviewed on November 3rd. Just got the form last Friday and turned it in already.

I got that letter too. Did your status on USC change to alternate list? Mine still says interview.

I just checked my application status on-line, and my status is "alternate". Does this mean that I got waitlisted already? or every post-interview candidates are supposed to have this status by Dec 1st?
I interviewed on oct 6.

This got brought up earlier in the thread... pretty sure everyone that has interviewed has this status. No need to fret.

Yep, everyone interviewed should be listed as alternate right now.

I was wondering, should we contact the school to see if they've received the contact form?

I interviewed back in September and forgot to ask how they would be informing after dec 1st. Does anyone know how they send accept, reject, wait list stuff? I really hope I get in!

When is the second batch of acceptances? With deposits due earlier this year (30 days), will they send out more acceptances in January?

I received a snail mail letter today from USC that starts off, "This is to bring you up-to-date on the status of the processing of your application...Your application has completed the preliminary review and will remain under consideration until the class is finalized in early August."

Is this the same letter that others received and means deferred admission?

Does anyone know what this letter means?

I also got the same letter today that says my app will "remain under consideration". I just checked some posts from 2008-09, and some people said that a week after, they got an invite for an interview.

Has anyone been rejected w/out the opportunity of an interview after receiving this letter?

i don't know, but I got that same letter back in September and haven't heard anything from them since.

hope you guys have more luck than me.

I applied last year to USC and didnt get an interview, but i also got these letters in the mail similar to the ones above. im not 100 % sure but i think the letters where the same. i dont want to crush ur hopes, but no good news came to me last year. i hope u guys can prove me wrong. sorry 🙁

Just withdrew my acceptance from USC...hope it makes a late Christmas present to one you waiting for it! 👍
