Hey everybody

So USCAP starts up this weekend in Boston. How about we all get together for a drink Sunday night at Cactus Club around 8ish?

It's right across the street, and I'm all for short walking distances given the cold weather.

Unfortunately I'm on service next week, and since the conference is here in Boston, I can't stay up all night and chill like I'd usually do...all the fellows and junior staff are holding the fort next week!

Just an FYI to everybody coming in...Boston is still in the middle of winter (I'm sure you've heard about our recent storm), so pack appropriately!

The Boston weather is supposed to improve by the time of the USCAP meeting. It will not be southern warm climate temperatures, but not too bad.

The cactus club is right across from the convention center, it is little noisy but the drinks are excellent and the food acceptable.

Sunday night is the housestaff event at USCAP. This year they're talking about fellowships.

Perhaps this year will be the year the conference destination is warmer than the place I left. Hope springs eternal...

The Westin appears to have some sort of weekday cultural happy hour for those who are (or know someone who will be) inhabiting it.

Will try to stop by the Cactus. How will we know each other? 😀

Well, so it'll be warmer than expected..which is great!

As for the conflict with the Housestaff event....well, if y'all want to meet us after the event is over, that works too.

I'll be there at around 8pm with a purple sweater and a pseudo big sign saying "SDN"....or alternatively just look for people who still may have their USCAP name cards on 🙂

for those of you coming a bit earlier (Fri night), 'specially for those going to the CAP resident forum saturday...after pre-partying with the free drinks at the "welcome reception" friday, a bunch of us are planning to hit up Caprice (nice martini bar/lounge) followed up Roxy nightclub, just nextdoor.

Should be a blast! either show up or pm me (i can put your name on the guest list for Roxy Fri night).
