I'm not intending to goof off and fail my classes.. I promise. I currently have an A- in Immunology, A- in Plant Biology, B+ in Anatomy Lab and a B in Anatomy Lecture. But i'm just such a paranoid freak and finals are coming up and I'm a ball of stress!

When USC says "You must maintain a 3.00 "B" or better for your cumulative GPA" Does that mean I need to get above a 3.00 this winter quarter and this coming spring quarter, or does it just mean I need to keep my GPA from all 4 years of undergrad above a 3.00?

Also is anyone else freaking out about pre-reqs? I don't know USC's policy on AP credit so I might be short two english classes if they don't give me any credit for getting a 4 on AP Literature and Composition. Its just I passed out of the lower division english courses at my university and couldn't take those classes so now I am signed up for a random assortment of english courses next semester "Pre 1500 English Literature" and "Writing in Health Sciences". I checked the course equivalencies for my school and it lists English 104, but I'm signed up for English 104F, there is no English 104 blank, its all 104A-F, am I stressing over nothing, its just I'm so worried I won't fulfill some minor requirement :scared:

I guess no one knows, I will call them tommorow for sure, but I was just seeing if anyone asked any of my questions already. I feel like I'm so annoying when I call these schools with these questions but its really bugging me and I just want to make sure I'm ok.

Cumulative GPA means overall GPA. As long as you have over a 3.0 by the time you graduate, you're okay. 🙂

Does the 3.0 hold true also for pharmacy classes at USC?

Its probably your Pharmcas cumulative GPA...if its below 3.0 they won't even consider you for admissions whatsoever.

Have you called and asked about the GPA requirement? is it cumulative or just the winter/spring quarters? Thanks!

does the GPA requirement have to be over 3.0 for the prereqs as well or just overall? My science GPA a little under 3.0 but prereq GPA is over 3.0 and so is CGPA. am I OK for USC???

did you find out the answer to your question? I think it's the cum GPA, not just the remaining quarters. but yeah definitely check with them.

I called them, the lady I spoke to said that as long as your GPA on your final transcript is over a 3.0 you are fine.

I had a friend who told me that you aren't allowed to fail any courses? Even if you don't need them as pre-reqs or to graduate? Is this true?
