Whats up folks!

As everyone is super busy compiling their applications (including me) I wanted to know if your undergrad offers a committee packet, do most dental schools prefer it over submitting recommendations on your own (through interfolio)? I know for a lot of medical schools a committee letter is preferred, but what about D schools?

many thanks

A committee letter is preferred apparently but I submitted my individual letters and still got in.

but most school's websites don't explicitly state that the committee letter is preferred. If you're right, that really sucks because my undergrad (Stony Brook) is extremely slow with processing the package.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you have any other red flags on your application I think it should be fine

If there's a potential delay with the committee, go on your own... as long as you have a good reason in case you have to explain yourself.

I'm in the same boat, my university won't start reviewing my packet until June 21st, also most schools prefer a committee packet over individual submission.

Schools may bring this up in an interview if you choose to do individual letters. Prepare an answer as they prefer committee.

I had 4 interviews and not one school asked.
