It's been a pretty quiet week... Has anyone heard anything? When Ms. White said that decisions will be sent out by the second week of April I didn't think they would procrastinate 'til the last day! -_-

Have not heard anything. Was hoping to hear by today. Guess that gives us something to look forward to next week. 😉
 
I will be withdrawing my application as I have decided to attend Tufts MBS program instead. Good luck to everyone!
 
I was told I would hear back from IMS program (acceptance or denial) by the second week of April. I have yet to hear back. Has anyone else received any further info?
 
Exline.J, I was hoping to hear back by this morning but I still don't have anything. Making me pretty nervous!

I emailed Ms. White this morning and got this as a reply:

"Unfortunately, the Co-Directors have both been out of the office at different times for the past 2 weeks, therefore as soon as final decisions have been confirmed by both of them official emails will be sent out.


I apologize for the delay,

Shaterra White"

Congrats! I hope it goes well there for you.

I haven't heard back anything. Let's hope that we will today, guys.

We might not hear back for a while then, because Easter is around the corner.
 
This wait is very frustrating, especially with the program start date in the very near future. Thank you for updating us, @Exline.J and good luck to everyone. Fingers crossed that we hear back before Easter.

How long did it take for you to hear back? I just applied to the MS-HS program.
 
One more week to go.....

"Over 200 individuals expressed interest in the IMS program. Presently 100+ completed applications are under review. As a result of such a large applicant pool, the final decision notification date has been moved to Friday, April 25, 2014 by 5pm.

Today was too good to be true. I had a feeling that we were going continue to wait, but I figured we'd get an email regarding the delay. Errr

Yes, I got this:

"Congratulations, pending official acceptance by the Dean of Graduate Studies, you have been selected to matriculate into the IMS program leading to a Master of Science in Medical Science within the Morsani College of Medicine. The initial course, Medical Science Learning Skills, will begin on Monday, June 16th and end on Friday, July 25th. Fall classes begin on August 4, 2014. Please read attached document."

I received it at 2:44 PST

That's only one person. Stay positive. If anything, sending rejections is easier because you do not need to put extra info. I am more inclined to think that the decisions are not all in yet.
 
I think you're right, they probably only went through last names A-G or something like that. I haven't posted before, but like you guys I was pretty pissed off when they didn't send anything at 5. Then when I received it at 5:44 I was kinda shocked and figured I couldn't leave you guys waiting in anticipation. Keep your spirits up though. My stats are not phenomenal so don't get discouraged.

Would you mind sharing what your stats were? I was waitlisted as well.
