I am a terrible reader. I read slowly, and have a bad retention rate from straight book reading. I was wondering if it would be useful to listen to selected M2 lectures that have been saved on an online database to study/review during M3 year. I would use the lectures in conjunction with a qbank or two. thanks!

This is problematic. The goal of m1-m2 is mechanisms of disease. The goal of m3-m4 is elementary management.

So while it's not a waste for your own understanding it doesn't seem like the best plan either.

Have you looked into any test prep videos? I'm kind of in the same position as you, trying to find some type of lecture to listen to when studying for 3rd year. I don't have any experience with them, but was thinking about getting kaplan usmle step 2 ck videos. If anyone has any comments about these videos or experience with other ones, it would be great.
