Using same LORs for SMP and Dental Schools

Hey guys,

I am applying to dental schools this year as well as a few SMPs as a backup plan. I was just wondering what your guys' thoughts were on using the same Letters of Recommendation for both programs. I would think that SMPs are created for the sole purpose of strengthening an application towards dental school (or any other professional school) that they would be understanding of this. Has anyone tried this and had success?

Most SMP's specifically state that they will accept letters of rec meant for either medical or dental school... I'd double check with the schools you are applying to or scour their website. I used these letters to gain entrance to my SMP, and I know everyone else did as well.
