Hey guys,

I am a re-applicant and I have some secondaries that require 2x2 photos. Would it be ok to use the same one I used last year (I still look the same!) or would it be something you want to change up like you would a PS?

Thanks!

That depends... Is your photo professional? (suit, tie, done in a studio) If yes then I don't see a problem with keeping it, unless of course you want to retake it.

Suit, tie, in my own dining room (white wall). Printed at CVS.

Don't want to spend the time (and money) re-taking a picture and I still look the same. However, I'm just not sure if there was a protocol for this so I thought I'd double check.

Done in a studio? That's just silly. But if you want to throw money away, go for it. There are about 100 other details of the process that I would worry about over getting a sweet angle on my 2x2. It just needs to be presentable. Passport style....without the outrageous cost of an actual passport photo. There are a few schools who take your picture at the interview and it serves the same purpose. You just get thrown up agains the wall and if you're lucky you can sneak out a 'cheese' before its snapped. That's all they want. If you think it's decent, reuse it.

👍 Yep sounds good. Studio photos are not necessary to those bashing it. But my photo looks pretty good for paying only $35 at a local studio. Almost everyone has a friend these days with an SLR camera that would probably do it free of charge anyway as an alternative. Not very hard to get a nice looking picture anymore 🙄

And you can lose 50 lbs and look like Angelina Jolie thanks to our friendly neighborhood Photoshop... but I digress 😀

Thanks everyone.
