This is a pretty basic question, I realize, but could you all give me some feedback on websites you may have used to learn more about various residencies. I like scutwork, although many programs have not been reviewed. Medfools seems to be more about books, based on a cursory glance. I realize personal preferences will be specialization-dependent, but I just want to get a better sense of what's out there.

try departmental websites for individual programs. most university-based programs will have information available on www. some community hospitals also have websites.

careermd.com is a pretty good database of programs you can search by state. But in terms of findings out people's opinions of places, I haven't found a better site than scutwork -- even though they need major updating. I encourage people to use that site!
