I have heard about the Underground Clinical Vignettes Bundle for USMLE Step 1, but I wasn't sure how useful these are or which ones to get?

The bundle includes all of them, but I read in another one of the posts here (I think from '08) that the new editions are not nearly as good as the older editions. Can somebody please shed some light on this?

In general, what are your thoughts on using this for Step I study (p.s. I'm rounding out my first year of med school)

Thanks in advance 🙂

I have the whole set of the 5th edition.

I think it's a decent resource. BUt it's more for endgame (after doing Qbanks, first aid, kaplan, others...) than it is for primary study.

The nice thing is that it delves into some of the "low yields" such as Erysipeloid, LCMV, CTFV in the micro..

the anatomy section does contain a lot of Step 2 Surgery though...

it is quite expensive to buy, but PM me for more details...

I have a couple of them- only used the micro and did it a few days before exams in the actual course- I doubt I will use it much if at all for Step prep because I prefer Qbanks and just don't have time to utilize a ton of outside resources.

I have the set. I read the whole thing for behavioral science, and it was very good. If I use them, it's going to be late in the game, after I'm done studying, done using Qbanks, etc.
