Hey, I was wondering if i can get an opinion from someone who has matched to a Canadian residency spot as an IMG.

Is there any harm to post USMLE scores on your Carms application ? (hypothetically if they were really good scores)

Do you think it would turn off some PDs as they may think that you want/can/considered going to the US?

What kind of response are you really expecting to get here???

Say you do 'really good', and someone says it's a terrible idea. Would you really hide that? If they say it's a great idea, you're going to listen..........to a random on the internet....because you agree.

I'm not trying to be an *****, but come on!

Furthermore, you want an opinion from someone who has matched. They matched therefore that person is likely a good student with a good MCCEE scores. It is also highly likely that this person also has good USMLE scores.

If you are applying to the states, because it's a reasonable option, and Canada is really challenging to match into - there is no reason to hide that fact. If a PD asks if you applied to the states, you're better off to be honest (because you chose a career based on honesty) than to lie or hide the fact. Nothing wrong with "yes, I am keeping all my options open, but I would prefer to match in Canada by far". (If that's how you feel.)

Common sense = good.
