Ontario has just announced changes to the CaRMS eligibility criteria mid-Match. Only those IMG or CSA applicants who attended high school in Ontario will be eligible to participate in the first iteration. While some CSAs will benefit from this change, this will greatly reduce opportunities for Immigrant IMGs and CSAs from other provinces to match. Internationally Trained Physicians of Canada (ITPC) is actively advocating for this policy change to be rescinded.
