if you study the day prior to the exam...only do it up until noon and then quit...go to the gym and get a good workout in...eat a good supper and get some good sleep the night before.

if that doesn't work...try ambien>sonata>lunesta for problems sleeping...low dose alprazolam for anxiety during the test...maybe even propranolol i've heard works well.

best of luck.

The day before D-day I took the whole day off no study nada. Rented some samuri videos and animie watched them all day. At night gots some nookie from my girl and took a sublingual meletonin 10 hours before I had to wake up (still only got 4 hours of sleep do to nerves). If you got no girl to get some nookie from, tera patrick porn always worked for me.

You always have those 2 girls named "Fist-tina" and "Rosie Palm."

As above, i cant stress enough the need to relax and not study the day before the test, as counter intuative as it seems, there is no way that one extra day of studies will affect your score and the relaxation will be needed if you've put the time in.
As far as relaxing now...for the last couple of days, even out your schedule if you havent allready. Wake up the same time you will on test day, study for set hours, get good sleep, you can try ambien if you got it but there are memory effects if you limit your sleep hours which I think most med students tend to do... I wouldnt take it.
The WORST thing you can do is panic, if you are doing well on Q bank or other practice things, do those and let yourself know you're the ****. If you're not doing well STOP taking them now, again, no amount of information taken from 200 more questions will help your test score if your too freaked out to function. Confidence is a HUGE portion of this test and if you think you can't remember anything it will be a self fulfilling prophecy. Good luck.

I know someone who uses melatonin --> they say they get good restful sleep without feeling groggy the next day.

With melatonin, do you find you get the same kind of rest compared to sleep without melatonin?
