So where does this stuff go? I don't really see anywhere in the app right now that I put my step 1 score/transcript. I have a copy of my score report, but do I really need to pay tender for USMLE to upload that stuff? Just kind of confused and any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You "authorize the release" on ERAS under the "additional documents" tab. Then on sept 15th when you apply you will pay $80 to release the USMLE transcript to the programs.

Thanks for this question and answer, was also wondering about this. 🙂

What a joke. $80? These private central app services are a racket. They fee us to death on everything

The fee you pay is to NBME, not ERAS or NRMP. Everybody's gonna get their cut though. You should really be used to it by now.

I'm sorry but I will never get used to losing money I shouldn't 🙂

I do it because I have to, but thinking about it a little more should make you uncomfortable.
