Under the additional documents section for the USMLE transcript, if I select "authorize release" now without my CK results, will those results be sent out automatically when they do come out? Or would it be smarter to wait for the results then hit the button when all my tests are completed? I'm hopefully expecting my results on the 14th, so I should be able to authorize it with all the results before the 15th but I'm not sure if they get released right when I hit the button or if it takes a few days?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You can just release them now, then re-release them after you get the CK scores on the 14th. There's no benefit waiting. You can re-release the reports free as much as you want, but you're limited to once every 24 hr period.

The process to re-release is like 2-3 mouse clicks.

Even if you choose to release your results "now", the actual release probably won't happen until the 15th anyway. Usually we get the ERAS applications on the 15th, and it takes 24 hours for the USMLE reports to come. But as already mentioned, simply release now, and then re-release later.

so i have not certified or submitted my app yet. I authorized the release of my scores tonight though. So now I can assign the transcript to each individual program and then after I submit my app the transcript will go to all of those programs?

As the thread above states, this is incorrect. Apparently if you apply and pay for your USMLE transcript before the 14th, only the results from before the 14th will be released. It's very fast (and free) to re-release your scores on the 15th.
