Hey guys- for folks that have requested transcripts or updated transcripts recently. What has been your turnaround time? When I applied on 9/1, my transcript was uploaded the same day. I've heard the standard 3-5 days, but that hasn't been true for me in the past.

My Step 2 CK score just came out yesterday and the new USMLE transcript had been uploaded to eras by 3pm yesterday... so at least for me it didn't take very long to upload. When I originally applied my transcript with Step 1 score went out the evening of the 1st.

I received my scores yesterday and did a manual retransmit because I hadn't indicated to automatically send my scores. I don't think the transcript has been resent yet, and I'm not even sure how to officially tell if I actually requested them to be resubmitted although I'm fairly certain I did. Anyone know how to tell if I actually requested retransmit and how to tell when programs have received the updated one??

How long should it take?

I'm not sure if you can tell if you manually resubmitted them more than a few minutes after submission. You can tell if it's been uploaded or received by the programs the same way you tell if your original app was downloaded, through the 'track applications' popup. It will indicate that a second USMLE transcript was uploaded right underneath your original USMLE transcript, and then tell you when the programs downloaded the new one.

It's been over 24 hours and I'm not seeing the second USMLE transcript thing in the ADTS. Do you think I should resubmit or wait it out?

Hm... I dunno. Maybe the automatic retransmission thing just does it quicker than manual retransmission. I have yet to experience the 3-5 day waiting period but maybe since a LOT of people are retransmitting their step 2's right now since a huge crop came out Weds, it's just taking longer. Strange....

right - I didn't have the "automatically send" thing clicked, so when my Step 2 score came in, I manually reuploaded it (like probably thousands of other people did on Wedn).

Ya, I bet there is a delay because so many people did it at once. I also submitted mine yesterday. I would say we should just wait it out because resending it over and over is likely to just be annoying to the programs. I am sure it will get sent in the next day or monday. If by tuesday there is no send I will start worrying about it. If anyone knows otherwise please let us know.

In the same boat. Manually reuploaded and still waiting. Also added some more programs and the usmle transcript hasn't been uploaded to them.

Ok, my updated transcript just showed up in the ADTS, so there is hope. Don't sweat it, people. I guess sometimes it just takes a couple of days.

Naturally it says "available but not yet retrieved" 😉
