USMLE Transcript

I know that you can use the MyERAS section on the AAMC site to request that an electronic copy of the USMLE transcript be sent to the programs that you apply for. What I would like to know though is how do I go about requesting a copy of the USMLE trancript for myself. I checked on the ECFMG site (I am an IMG) but I don't see any way to request the USMLE trancript.

I am not 100% on this, but you could try just calling ECFMG. I had to call them with a question about requesting the USMLE transcript for a non-ERAS hospital--that case was different, but since the request is for yourself, ECFMG might send it to you (for a fee/with signature request).

You can request one from the ECFMG, as long as you have not taken Step 3. If you have taken Step 3, then apparently you contact the FSMB. From the ECFMG website:

USMLE Transcripts
To request an official USMLE transcript, you must contact the appropriate registration entity. You must contact the Federation of State Medical Boards if you are registered for or have taken Step 3 and/or you want to send your transcript to a medical licensing authority. In all other cases, submit your transcript request to ECFMG by sending a completed Request for Official USMLE® Transcript (Form 172) and the appropriate fee to ECFMG. You can check whether your USMLE transcript has been sent using OASIS.
