Just wondering what might be the best way to use USMLE-Rx QMax during the first half of second year?

Just trying to do 5-10 questions a day on top of school work. Nothing crazy.

Doing a set number of questions per day seems fine. Alternatively, you could just go through a bunch of questions before block exams.

When you say block exams, you just mean an exam?

Yup. Our courses are broken up into various blocks or sections that last ~3 or 4 weeks each. At the end of each, we have an exam.

I think it would make more sense to do subject mode on the subject your next test will be. That way you can integrate step 1 learning into class learning and vice versa.

Idk why I have exams every 2-2.5 weeks

I have some courses that test on a more frequent basis, too. Block length is variable.
