Alright, I'll talk, since more people are interested in the school.
The new "student-centered learning" approach in (P2-P3) is a bit ridiculous. Basically we have to teach ourselves material BEFORE the class in P&T, take pop quizzes in the beginning of class, and then the prof. lectures, and for a lot of things they started to say "you have to learn this for the test but I'm not going to teach it to you, look it up". That coupled to no grades below a C or whatever they have for incoming students, when right now averages for most tests are around 75, that worries me. The new program is a step in the right direction from what was previously there (P&T all crammed in one year), but they're tacking on all these extra things. We are the first class under the new curriculum, so hopefully they'll make it better within a few years.
Another thing that isn't so good (unrelated to the school) is the job saturation in Philly. It's pretty hard to find internships here (with 3 schools for a city of 1.5 million people).
I'm not going to make this post entirely negative. I think we have great chapters of professional organizations and pretty good Greek life for a small school. We have some really good professors and some bad ones, just like any other school. It just worries me that they raised the GPA requirements too much, so you better know what those requirements are, since I'm not too clear on them either (I'm a P2). If you think you can handle it (and many people can), go for it.
