Hi Lizzie,

I've been accepted and as of right now it's one of my top choices. I'm still waiting to hear back from the big name schools like USC, NYU and Columbia but USP is giving me a semi-decent fin. aid package.

How about you? Are you from the East Coast? I'm from LA and scared of moving to Philly so soon (May), I was hoping to move in August.

Right now I'm in New Jersey. I'm also waiting to hear back from several other schools in NY and NJ. However I'm scared because the deposit is due by the April 1st, and I dont't want too miss out in case I don't get in anywhere else 😕

As of right now, USP is my first choice but I am waiting to hear back from other schools as well. I just came back from visiting the school. The campus is nice and small and I like the one on one attention students will receive from professors, but I don't want to live on campus, and housing near the area isn't great... I am considering living in the city and commuting.

If I choose USP I was thinking about doing Housing for the Summer because I would be moving from L.A. I too like the small classes and especially the more variety of fieldwork that is introduced in the first semester. I'm really nervous. I would like for NYU and Columbia to tell me already so I may start applying for private loans.

I visited USP but only during the day. Is it really in a "bad" neighborhood. I have some friends in Philly who suggest not to walk alone after 10pm. I'm not exactly sheltered but I would like to know what to expect. =)

Yeah, I was thinking about that..but I'm not too sure about dorms. I had a bad experience during my undergrad.

I heard back from columbia and was wait-listed

If I choose Philly I plan on doing the dorm only for the summer session then locating an apartment for the rest of the year. I found some studios for decent prices but I figured the 6 weeks of dorm life would help me get used to life in Philly.

I was wait listed at USC. No word on Columbia or NYU.

Hi,

Have any of you guys decided on attending USP in the fall? I will be a third year pharmacy major here. And I'm looking for a roommate! 🙂
